Youth Researcher Challenge Learning Report

GripTape’s first Youth Researcher Challenge, in partnership with Jobs for the Future, brought youth to the table as true partners in research design.

It spurred both profound changes in how young people approach their own learning, as well as new understanding for how to facilitate opportunities for youth-led research. What we learned illustrates the importance of developing young people’s agency while providing resources and support throughout a learning experience.

And, it taught us more about how we can elevate youth voices in research on education issues that directly impact their lives.
